The EUCLID Schools' Student Management Universe (ESSMU) - available via Business Objects XI (BOXI) - enables staff in Schools and Colleges to run standard reports on student and course data. Additionally, Advanced Users are able to create new reports and to adapt copies of existing reports, and to make these available locally.

- "An Introduction to ESSMU" User Guide: The introductory ESSMU User Guide (.doc format) is a basic handbook for all users. It describes: how to log in to BOXI and to navigate; how to view the standard EUCLID reports available; how to save a report to Excel format; how to print a report.
- Standard Reports Available: Details of the standard reports available via ESSMU are available, together with detailed information on the data recorded within them.
- EUCLID/ESSMU/DRPS - Data Cross-Reference: Data items (objects) held in ESSMU and where the corresponding information can be found in the EUCLID Student Lookup Tool, or the Degree Regulations and Programmes of Study, if available.
- Advanced Users: a list of Advanced Users by College by School, their role, together with a User Guide.
- ESSMU Limitations : an explanation of the data that ESSMU accesses, and its limitations
- Release Notes: Details of changes made to the standard reports (or underlying universe)

ESSMU Governanace: The SACS Governance Board sets the direction and oversees the development and enhancement of corporate Student Admissions and Curricula (EUCLID and related) Systems, of which ESSMU forms a part. It is assisted by an ESSMU Co-ordinating Group under its Terms of Reference.
